Sony Computer Entertainment America happily announced that their seminal driving series Gran Turismo has surpassed the 50 million mark in terms of sold units. Congratulations, Sony!

EA announced this morning that both single-player and multiplayer demos will be available for Battlefield: Bad Company on June 5th. They will be ready for download for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 from their respective online stores. The game itself is due out June 25th.

All (one of) you Brendon Fraser fans looking forward to a George of the Jungle sequel and subsequent videogame will have to wait a little while longer. But there is The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, the PlayStation title coming in August to tie in with the film’s release. The game will also be released for the Nintendo DS.

EA announced the development of Lord of the Rings: Conquest, an action game for the PlayStation 3, PC, Nintendo DS, and Xbox 360. The game is being developed by Pandemic Studios.
