Press Release

CDV Software Entertainment has announced that it will release ÜberSoldier, a WWII FPS for the PC, in March 2006. ÜberSoldier will challenge players to take on the role of a genetically modified super-soldier brought back from beyond the grave, as he seeks retribution against the enemies that surround him. Combining tactical supernatural powers, a veritable arsenal of historically based weaponry and rich mission diversity, ÜberSoldier will deliver a pulse-pounding and original FPS experience.

In development by Burut Creative Team (Burut CT), ÜberSoldier will require players to join resistance fighters in the struggle to defeat Nazi occupation forces in dozens of action-packed missions that require quick, on-your-feet thinking and tactical prowess. "ÜberSoldier 's high quality graphics, dynamic physics engine and realistic rag-doll effects will offer players an affordably-priced yet high-quality game experience," stated company spokesperson, Mario Kroll. "We believe that ÜberSoldier will provide a fun, fast-paced alternative to CDV's traditionally more cerebral game offering, thus complementing CDV's impressive 2006 line-up extremely well."
